The Pipe Creek Civil War Round Table of Carroll County, Maryland was founded in November 1996 by a small group of Carroll County citizens who were interested in preserving the richness of our Civil War heritage. Our public meetings began in January 1997.

Our Mission

• Promote research on Carroll County's role during the Civil War
• Preserve historic land by assisting community efforts and the county Historical Society
• Stimulate interest in our heritage and history by educating Carroll County residents of all ages
• Provide volunteer assistance where necessary
• Preserve our history through documentation, video, photographs, and the internet
